DEION Sanders slammed ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky for remarks concerning his son, Shedeur Sanders, during the 2025 NFL Draft.
Orlovsky broke down football tape on the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback, Sanders, who wasn’t selected in the first round of Thursday’s NFL Draft.

The former NFL quarterback Orlovsky posted a clip of what he believes to be some of Sanders’ flaws, including taking sacks, expressing how plays like those are why he didn’t get picked on Thursday night.
“If Shedeur doesn’t go early tonight – plays like these, I believe, will be a reason why and what he will to work on,” Orlovsky wrote on X.
The post went viral and got the attention of fans and Shedeur’s father.
An X user replied to the post, “Turned into a hater. Hate to see it man.”
Deion then responded to the fan’s post and stated, “Yes, he did! Wow.”
Orlovsky has been a fan of Sanders in the past and responded to the fan’s post, saying that it’s his job to “point out the good and bad” for respective players.
“I’ve said endlessly I like Shedeur. I’ve done a flaws tape for all top QBs every year. Same this year,” Orlovsky wrote.
The fan countered, “If we put [Ole Miss] Jaxson Dart on that Colorado team is he doing the same thing Shedeur did????”
And Orlovsky responded back, writing, “Probably no. But that doesn’t make me a hater. I like shedeur. Done a lot to highlight the things he does well. Said he’s a first round pick. Hope he is.”
Sanders was sacked 42 times last season, but still managed to pass for 37 touchdowns and total 11 interceptions.
Nonetheless, the first round saw just two quarterbacks selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Cam Ward was taken with the No. 1 overall pick by the Tennessee Titans.
Then, the New York Giants traded back into the first round with pick No. 21 for Jaxson Dart.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, who were linked to Sanders, chose to select Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon with the No. 21 overall pick.
