DEION SANDERS has made a major decision about his future with the Colorado Buffaloes.
The two-time Super Bowl winner’s future at Folsom Field had recently been the subject of speculation given how he’s transformed the University of Colorado Boulder’s football program.

But the 57-year-old – who guided the Buffaloes to a spot in the Alamo Bowl with a 9-4 season and was linked with a move to the Dallas Cowboys – has ended talk that he could leave the team by inking a new five-year contract.
He said in a statement: “We’ve just scratched the surface of what this program can be.
“It’s not just about football; it’s about developing young men who are ready to take on the world.
“I’m committed to bringing greatness to this university, on and off the field.
“We’ve got work to do, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but here, making history with these incredible players and this passionate fan base.
“Lastly, anybody got at least a five-bedroom home with acreage for sale?”
Sanders’ new deal is worth nearly DOUBLE the one he penned upon his arrival from Jackson State University.
The extension is worth a whopping $54million, a figure University of Colorado Boulder Athletic Director Rick George believes Sanders deserves.

He said: “Coach Prime has revolutionized college football and in doing so, has restored CU football to our rightful place as a national power.
“This extension not only recognizes Coach’s incredible accomplishments transforming our program on and off the field.
“It keeps him in Boulder to compete for conference and national championships in the years to come.”
