Dancing on Ice was back as six more celebrities made their debuts on the ice. Paralympian Libby Clegg was last to skate alongside partner Mark Hanretty. Christopher Dean was particularly moved by her performance this evening and became tearful as he gave feedback.
Libby is the first blind contestant to take part in the show, and her and partner Mark Hanretty explained to viewers her different experience of learning her routine before they took to the ice.
In the video-tape prior to their performance, Mark told the camera: “It’s a massive challenge, it’s never been done before, because it’s dangerous.
“I’ve got to get the technique across without demonstrating and that’s a challenge for me as much as Libby learning herself.
“I don’t quite know how Libby’s brain processes these movements without getting to see them,” he added.
