DANTE FOWLER is making a surprise return to the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry Jones and Co have signed the pass-rusher free agent to a one-year deal.

Fowler previously played for the Cowboys in 2022 and 2023.
The 30-year-old left Arlington to team up with former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn in Washington.
Fowler racked up 10 sacks for the Commanders and looked every part a former No. 3 overall pick.
Now the Cowboys have swooped to bring the defensive end back to Dallas.
The deal is worth $6million and can move to $8m based on incentives, per ESPN.
Jones and the Cowboys have been busy in free agency.
Fowler is the third defensive lineman added by the team, behind Solomon Thomas and Payton Turner.
It comes after a productive year with the Commanders for Fowler, who’s 10.5 sacks were just one short of a career-high.
The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Fowler with the third overall pick in the 2015 draft.
But he missed his entire rookie season after tearing his ACL in spring practice.
He later had stints with the Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Falcons, before arriving in Dallas three years ago.
Fowler’s addition comes as the Cowboys struggle to agree an extension with Micah Parson.
The four-time Pro Bowler will be playing in the final year of his rookie contract in 2025.
In just four campaigns, he already has 52.5 sacks and 256 tackles.
Parsons is a three-time first-team All-Pro and has earned Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.

And he admitted earlier this year he was “choked up” to see former coach Mike McCarthy leave.
“Obviously very sad because of the relationships with coach McCarthy and everything he’s done for our program,” Parsons said on his show The Edge.
“Three straight 12-5 seasons, playoffs appearances and an unfortunate year due to injuries.
“It is devastating. Mike is a great father, coach.
“He’s one of the winningest coach and losing him hurts.”
