Dallas Cowboys issue 4-word statement over their future plans to help Dak Prescott and target Super Bowl for Jerry Jones

THE Dallas Cowboys aren’t done spending in free agency yet.

While it has been a relatively quiet offseason for the Cowboys, the team is insisting they aren’t done yet.

To put into perspective how quiet the Cowboys’ offseason was, the highest value contract they handed out was $6.4 million in total value.

That contract was also given to a punter, not exactly the most important position on the field.

The Cowboys failed to really get any help on offense for Dak Prescott, but they want fans to know the offseason isn’t over yet.

Executives insist that there is still more to be done this offseason.

“We’re not done yet,” executive vice president Stephen Jones said.

“We still got some things that are out standing that we’re trying to get done.

“Missed a few guys along the way too in terms of the number just being a lot higher than we thought it would be on a couple guys.

“Overall we’re real pleased with what we were able to do with our roster and help the team.”

There are still some decent offensive talents remaining in free agency.

Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen is on the open market as well as former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper.

There are a few offensive linemen available in free agency as well, but not the top options.

It seems most likely that the Cowboys will need to find their offensive help in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Guys like Luther Burden III out of Missouri or Ashton Jeanty could be productive for the Cowboys offense.

Still, fans aren’t happy with how the team has gone about this offseason and shared their frustration on social media.

“They have been pleased with the roster every single year for 30 years. No point in even talking to the Jones,” one fan said.

“Dumpster diving time, if anything at all,” another fan said.

“My word he sucks,” a third fan said.

“When has Stephen not been pleased with what he does in FA and the draft???” a fourth fan said.

“Same. Story. Every. Single. Year. I really don’t know how they keep saying it with a straight face,” a fifth fan said.
