DAK Prescott has been predicted to be shipped from the Dallas Cowboys to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a stunning trade.
The three-time NFL Pro Bowl quarterback would be traded to the Steelers for a former NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Former NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert pitched a blockbuster trade on X and suggested the Cowboys should trade Prescott to the Steelers for star pass rusher T.J. Watt.
The Cowboys would also receive the No. 21 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, while the Steelers would get Dallas’s No. 12 overall pick in the deal.
“Steelers get a QB and avoid the contract + get pick #12 Cowboys get Pick #21 + Watt & get to (see) what Milton can do,” Benkert wrote on the social media platform.
“They’d have the best D line in the NFL and would give them an actual chance in the NFC East.”

Benkert referred to the fact that the Steelers would get their much-needed starting quarterback and avoid paying Watt, who wants to be one of the highest-paid players in the league.
He then said that the Cowboys would hand the keys to the offense to Joe Milton, whom they recently received in a trade from the New England Patriots.
And the trade would pair Watt with Micah Parsons – giving the Cowboys undoubtedly the best edge duo in the NFL.
The trade proposal comes as Watt turned heads with a recently posted picture of himself walking off the field, showing a peace sign, in a Steelers uniform.
Watt is in the final year of his four-year, $112 million contract extension in 2021 and has been the Steelers’ defensive catalyst, earning seven-time Pro Bowls and four first-team All-Pro nods.
But there are several reasons why Benkert’s trade pitch has no legs on it.
The Cowboys would have to pay both Watt and Micah Parsons, who’s currently having a drama-filled contract discussion process with Jerry Jones.
Parsons is in the final year of his rookie contract and is seeking a $200 million contract.
They would save a huge amount of money by trusting Milton, who flashed potential in his Week 18 start with the Patriots.
But the Cowboys would be relying on an unproven signal-caller and likely have to pay more than $80 million on both Watt and Parsons.
As for the Steelers, they are currently waiting on Aaron Rodgers to decide if he wants to play for them or simply retire.

The team could very well draft a quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft if they don’t sign Rodgers.
There have been no reports on either the Steelers or the Cowboys expressing any interest in dealing their respective star player.
And if Prescott were to be dealt, the Cowboys would likely have to cover a chunk of his massive $240 million contract after playing just eight games in 2024 due to a season-ending hamstring injury.
When it comes to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, no possibility isn’t impossible.
But it would make sense to take Benkert’s trade proposal with the tiniest grain of salt.
