Chilling video shows Russians in nightclub rounded up and conscripted for desperate Putin

Shocking footage appears to show Russians being rounded up in a nightclub to be conscripted for the war in Ukraine.

Shared by Igor Sushko on X, the footage shows young Russians being told to sit down in a nightclub where the music appears to have been turned off.

A police officer is seen walking around the room, seemingly looking for young men.

Mr Sushko said: “Putin regime enforcers raided three largest Moscow nightclubs on Friday night — Simachev, Mutabor/ARMA, and Mono.

“Many men were taken to the military conscription offices. Women eventually released after their passports were photographed. Raids with police K9s lasted for hours.”

The footage emerges after Russia lost more than 2,000 men in a single day of fighting this week according to Kyiv’s figures.

Russia is losing a lot of men but is also making rapid gains in the east of Ukraine, according to reports.

Ukraine claims that Russia has suffered around 700,000 casualties since the start of the war.

Russia claims that Ukraine has suffered 700,000 “irrecoverable losses”, but the Wall Street Journal reports that Ukrainian has suffered at 80,000 deaths with 400,000 wounded.

Last month, images also emerged of Ukrainian conscription officers taking young men out of nightclubs.

Under Ukraine’s martial laws, men between 25 and 60 are eligible for conscription and those aged between 18 and 60 are not allowed to leave the country.

In April, Ukraine reduced its mobilisation age from 27 to 25 due to a shortage of fighters.

Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky made a major statement this week, hinting he would give up some territory occupied by Russia to secure a peace deal.

He added, however, that such a deal would involve Ukraine joining NATO.

Mr Zelensky told Sky News: “If we want to stop the hot stage of the war, we should take under [the] NATO umbrella the territory of Ukraine that we have under our control.

“That’s what we need to do fast, and then Ukraine can get back the other part of its territory diplomatically.”
