CORBETTS CROSS tragically died after falling during the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
In an official statement, Cheltenham confirmed that the Emmet Mullins-trained horse had suffered “fatal injuries”.

Corbetts Cross was ridden by jockey Jack Kennedy during the Gold Cup.
Cheltenham’s statement read: “In our fifth race of the day, Corbett’s Cross was immediately attended to by our veterinary professionals, but sadly sustained a fatal injury.
“Our heartfelt condolences are with his connections.”
