IT might just be the spiciest sporting auction ever.

And the expected price tag might raise eyebrows higher than the basketball legend’s trademark leap!
With more than two weeks left for bidding, an offer of $275 leads the way.
But that figure is sure to soar by the end of March.
Jordan memorabilia has a track record of fetching eye-watering amounts at auction.
Last year, a 2003-04 Logoman card autographed by the six-time NBA champion scooped a record $2.928m.
But you might be surprised to hear Cheetos too can pack a punch under the hammer.
One shaped like a Charizard recently went for.. $87,840!
So although it might be a stretch to call a Cheeto a piece of memorabilia, an item combining the two brands is attracting major interest.
The bite-sized replica of the 62-year-old’s logo is on offer at Goldin Auctions.
The so-called Jumpman Cheeto is three inches long and comes inside a small case to protect it from both greedy onlookers and the air.

Flip it over and you’ll find a list of Jordan’s main stats plus career highlights from his rookie season.
Some might think spending a huge sum on a snack that you presumably won’t eat is a bit tasteless.
But the figure it reaches would of course be next to nothing for Jordan himself – in the unlikely event he puts in a bid.
The former Chicago Bulls star reportedly has a net worth of around $3.5billion.
Amongst his spectacular purchases was a heavily customised Gulfstream 650ER private jet for $70m.
And yes, his Jumpman logo was on that – in huge white paint at the rear.
The plane also includes a separate dining space for five star service – perhaps with Cheetos included…
