The ruling German coalition reportedly collapsed on November 6. Several local media reports have claimed Chancellor Olaf Scholz has sacked Finance Minister Christian Lindner.
Lindner is a member of the Liberals (FPD), one of the parties making up the “traffic light coalition” that has been in government since 2021.
