A NEW zipline attraction is set to open at Center Parcs.
The new ride will open at Center Parcs Elvedon Forest in Suffolk, having been given the green light by the local council.

The 145-metre ZipZag ride at Elveden Forest will join the Aerial Adventure, another zipline attraction at the holiday park.
Passengers will be suspended from a wire and fly through the air on a circular route with twists and turns on the western edge of the main lake.
Plans show a spiral tower which would be the start and end point of the ride.
An official start date for works as well as when it will open are yet to be confirmed.
The ride will be similar to one already open at at Gulliver’s Kingdom, in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire.
Center Parcs first opened in the UK in 1987, Sherwood Forest in 1987, followed by a second park two years later,
Elveden Forest was the second Center Parcs to open in the UK in 1989, with the first opening in 1987 being Sherwood Forest.
Other holiday parks followed including Longleat (1994), Whinfell Forest (1997) and Woburn Forest (2014).
Ireland’s Longford Forest opened in 2019.
Other holiday parks are getting new rides too, including an “adventure nets” attraction at Longleat.
Connecting the on-site trees would be large green and brown netted paths, with the three houses up to 3m tall.
The attraction will replace the current existing golf course which will be removed.
The news of a new zip-line ride come just weeks after plans of a huge new Center Parcs resort in the UK were revealed.
And one of the world’s oldest Center Parcs resorts in in the Netherlands, which recently opened a new water playhouse.

Meanwhile, of the UK’s best holiday sites compared to Center Parcs will open its doors to people not staying on-site.
Bluestone in Pembrokeshire is often dubbed the “cheaper Center Parcs” and has won a number of awards in recent years.
One of the park’s main attractions is the Blue Lagoon, a huge indoor water complex with pools, waterslides and wave machines.

The new Center Parcs holiday resort is set to open on the Scottish borders, a first for Scotland.
It is predicted to cost £400million, and could open within the next three years when planning permission is granted.
On-site will be 700 accommodation options ranging from woodland cabins and treehouses.
The iconic s indoor waterpark, Subtropical Swimming Paradise with pools and sports facilities as well as the Aqua Sana Forest Spa will also be part of the complex with treatments, sauna and steam rooms.
Restaurants, bars, cafes and shops will also be on-site, although more is to be revealed.
