But eagle-eyed viewers have spotted that Trisha Goddard has been given a pass.
One person remarked: “Trisha is wearing a watch – someone needs to email ITV but it must be something to do with medication.”
A second wrote: “Is it true that Trisha wears a watch ?”
While a third asked: “I may be dumb but is that an apple watch on trisha’s wrist???”
Trisha, 67, is exempt from the rule due to fact is living with stage four terminal cancer and is thought to need it to monitor various aspects of her health.
We previously told how to ensure her comfort and wellbeing, the show’s team have arranged for Trisha to have her own room, similar to the setup for Sharon Osbourne, 72, last year.
A source told The Sun: “Trisha has been given her own space in the house to ensure she can rest when necessary.
“The production team has worked closely with her doctors to ensure she has everything she needs during her time in there.
“It’s a sensitive situation, and this setup allows her to manage her health while still being part of the show.”
Speaking to The Mirror ahead of her TV stint, Trisha spoke about how her oncologist is working alongside the Big Brother team.
“I’ve got a special therapist who’s happy to work with the medic on the show,” she explained.
She then said: “My palliative care team – and when I say that word everybody screams and runs away, but it’s symptom treatment – is working with the team here too.
“And then when it comes to my treatment, I had one infusion on Monday, so I’ve got to jump on a plane and go straight back to have the next one as soon as the show is over.”
Trisha then spoke about the “bag full of meds” that she is taking in the house with her.
