Odegaard skippered his nation in both games, picking up an assist against Moldova before netting a hat-trick of assists against Israel.
His performance in the game saw him remarkably being placed into a headlock and then wrestled with by Norway manager Stale Solbakken when he was subbed off in injury time.
But the 26-year-old has been widely praised after helping staff to clean the locker room following the team’s celebrations.
In a video shared online, the attacking midfielder is seen picking up rubbish and putting it in a plastic bag before placing it on top of an overflowing black wheelie bin.
Reacting to the video on social media, one fan said: “Captain on and off the pitch. Odegaard leads with class, humility, and respect—this is what true leadership looks like.”
A second said: “THIS IS MY SKIPPER AHHHHHHHHHH”

A third added: “Love Odegaard on and off the pitch.”
Another said: “Complete captain on and off the pitch.”
Odegaard has registered eight assists and five goals for the Gunners this season.
However, without the brilliant Bukayo Saka next to him, Odegaard has frustrated some of the Arsenal faithful with his performances.
Arsenal’s next game comes against Fulham in the Premier League next Tuesday, with the Gunners out of the FA Cup as the quarter-finals are played out this weekend.
Odegaard and Co. then travel to Everton before playing out the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, who Odegaard used to play for.
