IT appears that Patrick Mahomes has some free time to watch sports in the offseason.
On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback took to X to react to the NBA Playoffs.

The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics opened their second-round series on Monday, and Mahomes was tuned in to watch the action.
It was an action-packed game, with the Knicks storming back from a 20-point deficit to win Game 1.
However, the game had to go to overtime first after Jalen Brunson missed a game-winning shot with just seconds left in the fourth quarter.
The Knicks superstar and a clear lane to the basket and floated a layup towards the rim, but somehow it didn’t fall into the basket.
Everyone on the Knicks looked on in disbelief, especially Brunson, as the Boston crowd erupted in cheers after the missed shot.
Even Mahomes was left in disbelief, sharing his shock on X during the game.
“Can’t believe that shot didn’t go!” he said.
The Celtics got one last chance to take the lead with not even a second left in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t get a shot to go and went to overtime.
Eventually, the Knicks won Game 1 108-105 and took a 1-0 lead in the series.
Mahomes is a huge NBA fan, supporting the Dallas Mavericks, but he does have some ties to New York City.
His father, Pat Mahomes Sr, spent two years with the New York Mets during his 11 year MLB career.
During the 1999 and 2000 season, Mahomes grew up in the Mets clubhouse and has retained a fondness for the team.
He has been seen in the past sporting a Mets jersey with his dad’s name and number on the back to a Sunday Night Football game.
Perhaps he has retained some fondness for NYC after spending two years of his childhood in the city.
However, he could just be another stunned neutral observer, like many who were left baffled on social media by the crazy Knicks-Celtics game.
