More than 90 NFL team staffers headed down to watch the Miami Hurricanes quarterback in training.
That included a large contingent from the Titans, who have the No1 pick for the 2025 Draft which takes place next month.
Ward was even spotted talking in depth with general manager Mike Borgonzi and president of football operations Chad Brinker after completing a pass.
And it is clear the Texan is confident he has done enough to secure the Titans’ selection – with a four-word statement brimming with confidence.
Ward said: “[I told them] ‘I’m solidifying it today.’
“They finally got to see me throw in person. That should be all they need to see.
“But at the end of the day, I’m going to be happy whatever team I go to.
“I’m just trying to play football.”
But he did single out Titans coach Brian Callahan and thinks their styles would gel nicely.
Ward added: “I think Coach Callahan’s one of the best head coaches out there.

“The things he did with Joe Burrow when he first got into the league made him be real successful.
“I just think the playbooks match up not only for there, but Cleveland and New York.
“A lot of those three teams did the same things that we did in Miami. So I think it’ll be plug and play.”
Ward turned heads with his stunning solo campaign with the Hurricanes in 2024 following stints with Incarnate Word Cardinals and Washington State Cougars.
He set various records including for passing yards, completions and passing touchdowns.
And it is clear plenty of NFL fans are excited at the prospect of him shining in the big time later this year.
One said: “You are a Titan, Cam.”
Another wrote: “Titans would be stupid not to take him first overall.”
And a third added: “Might as well order my Titans Ward jersey now.”
