Bullets fired into Kamala Harris' campaign office in Arizona amid rising political threats

Vice President Kamala Harris’ Tempe, Arizona campaign office became the scene of a harrowing ordeal as it was targeted with gunfire, according to police reports.

In a terrifying event that unfolded late at night, TheMirrorUS reports that bullets rained down on the premises. Situated near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive, the office was reportedly struck shortly after the stroke of midnight on Monday, Tempe Police have confirmed.

Incredibly, no injuries resulted from the incident, which bears the marks of an increasingly troubling pattern of political violence shadowing this year’s presidential racea contest already marred by two attempts on former President Trump’s life.

Arizona Democratic Partys coordinated campaign manager Sean McEnerney expressed relief and gratitude, saying: “We are grateful to Tempe Police for coming quickly to the scene and are fortunate no one was present or injured.”

Tempe Police disclosed that this is not the first instance of such criminal damage; previously, the office’s front windows were shot at with what seemed to be a BB or pellet gun, just after midnight on September 16.

Speaking about the most recent attack, Sergeant Ryan Cook voiced concerns over safety implications, stating: “No one was inside the office during the overnight hours, but this raises concerns about the safety of those who work in that building, as well as those nearby.”

Further action is being taken by the police, who claim to be “actively investigating” the incident, reviewing evidence, and instituting additional protective measures.

This alarming incident occurs just a little over a week following the news of another assassination attempt on ex-President Donald Trump.
