Brooklyn boy, 7, drowns in pool at LI home hosting barbecue

A 7-year-old Brooklyn boy died in an apparent drowning in a backyard swimming pool at a Long Island home hosting a barbecue, cops said Sunday.

Kyrie Berry was pulled unresponsive from the pool at a house on N. Thompson Drive near Deer Park St. in Bay Shore about 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Suffolk County police said.

Medics rushed Kyrie to South Shore University Hospital but he couldn’t be saved.
