BRITAIN’S cheapest kebab is proving a big hit — at just £2.49.
The lamb shish, salad and buttered naan bread snack is less than a third of the average price of £7.

Along with the two skewers of grilled meat and pickled chilli, diners can also choose from a range of spicy chilli or mayo sauces all wrapped up to take away.
Or you can eat in with your meal on a plate, although that costs £3.50 more.
Dawat Restaurant in Tooting, South London, flogs hundreds a day from a takeaway window — with bosses vowing the price will not go up.
Manager Abneer Suleman told The Sun: “It’s one of our most popular dishes.
“We’ve been here around 20 years and that price has always been the same.
“Our customers are very loyal because the product is very good, so the price can stay the same.
“The shish kebab is an original recipe and quality really matters to us.”
Customer Mohammed Hasnain, 24, said: “I’ve seen it online and I really wanted to try one.
“I’ve come from North London to have it because of how popular it is.
“I can’t believe it’s so cheap but I’m glad it is. I spent more getting here than I will on the food.”
Mr Suleman added the takeaway made a slim loss on each £2.49 kebab but was worth it for the publicity.
He said: “This dish makes people happy and, if they get the kebab once, they may come back for a full meal next time.
“We’ve had people come back and put in three-figure orders just from having a kebab once.”
