Britain’s Got Talent 2019 is hotting up in the race to the final with ITV showing the last semi-finals tonight (May 31) and tomorrow (May 31). Acts are battling it out to win the opportunity to participate at the Royal Variety Performance this year in front of the Royal Family. But who is is the frontrunner at the moment according to current odds?
Who will win Britain’s Got Talent 2019?
A total of six acts have made it through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2019 final on Sunday, June 3, so far.
Among the lucky ones are mind-reading canine act Dave and Finn and primary school choir Flakefleet Primary School, who both made it through the first semi-final.
The second semi-final saw through another magical act in 4MG as well as comedian Siobhan Phillips.
Last night, presenters Ant and Dec announced that comedian Kojo Anim and Chelsea Pensioner singer Colin Thackery took the coveted spots in the third semi-final.
The latter won the public vote to secure his spot while Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act Kojo Anim was the judges’ choice.
WHO ARE THE GOLDEN BUZZER ACTS?
Now that the weekend’s grand final is almost within touching distance, bookies are weighing in on who is likely to take the ultimate prize.
Ladbrokes have Colin Thackery down as the one to beat after his performance last night at 5/4.
Shortly behind is Dave and Finn who is at 4/1 on par with Jonathan Goodwin.
Coral agree, placing Colin Thackery’s odds at 6/4 and the same odds for Dave and Finn and Jonathan Goodwin.
FULL LIST OF BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT WINNERS
Colin has taken over from the previous bookie’s favourite Dave and Finn thanks to winning the public vote last night.
Harry Aitkenhead from Coral said of the odds: “Colin has surged right to the top of our betting after last night and all of a sudden he’s the clear favourite to win the show.
“He’s almost got one foot on the Royal Variety stage already and at 6/4 he’s the hot favourite for glory.”
The competition is still tough with some big acts taking to the stage in tonight’s fourth semi-final.
Some of the acts performing against each other tonight will be dance group Lil Icons, harpist Ursula Burns and aerial performers A&J.
WHO IS THROUGH TO THE BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT LIVE SHOWS?
The night will also feature two singers pitting their vocal talents up against one another with Mark McMullan and Kerr James taking to the stage.
Comedy magician Graeme Matthews, magician Ben Hart and comedy ventriloquist Jimmy Tamley complete Thursday’s line-up.
Viewers tuning in tonight will also be treated to a performance by South Korean boy band BTS.
So we’ll have to tune in and see if the winners of tonight’s semi-final will oust Colin Thackery as the current frontrunner.
Britain’s Got Talent returns tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
