Fresh off wrapping his Madison Square Garden residency with a performance including Axl Rose, piano man Billy Joel plans to hit the road in 2025 — and he’s taking Sting and Stevie Nicks along for the ride.
The 75-year-old “My Life” singer announced five 2025 shows with his fellow septuagenarian superstars on Instagram Thursday. Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public Oct. 3 with a presale for Citi card members on Mon. Sept. 30.
Joel and Sting plan to rock Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind., on Feb. 8. Sting shared an advertisement for that “One night, one stage” event on his social media pages.
Nicks will join Joel for a show at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich., March 29. She’s doing a solo show there Sunday.
Sting and Joel will team up again in Syracuse for an April 11 performance at the JMA Wireless Dome. Then they’re at it again with two shows in May, starting with a stop at Charlotte, N.C.’s Bank of America Stadium on May 10, followed by a May 23 gig in Salt Lake City, Utah.
On Friday, bad weather forced Joel to move a St. Louis, Mo., performance with Sting from Friday to Monday.
Joel, who was born in the Bronx, last performed in New York City on July 25 when he played the Garden for the 150th time. Guests at that sold-out show included former President Bill Clinton.
He will wrap up 2024 on Long Island at a New Year’s Eve performance at UBS Arena.
