Bill Walton, two-time NBA champion and Hall of Fame center, dead at 71 after cancer battle



Bill Walton, the Hall of Fame center and longtime NBA broadcaster, has died at age 71, the league announced Monday.

Walton endured a long battle with cancer.

Walton won championships with the Portland Trail Blazers in 1977 and the Boston Celtics in 1986.
