Ben Affleck reportedly has no regrets about ending his fast-burning fairytale marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
According to People, a source has revealed the Oscar winner “never looked back” after he moved out of their Beverly Hills home earlier this year. The estranged couple lived in the residence since June 2023.
Amid months-long rumors of a split, Affleck — who reportedly was staying alone in a Brentwood rental home before buying a new $20 million property in L.A. — took all of his belongings from their marital mansion in June, the same month it was put on the market.
During the spring, Bennifer 2.0 were spotted together at various events but were seen spending much of the summer on opposite coasts.
Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Now allegedly “very focused on work and his kids,” the source told People that Affleck is “staying busy and happy.”
The “Gigli” stars were originally engaged in the early 2000s before calling off the wedding and breaking up shortly after.
Affleck went on to marry and start a family with actress Jennifer Garner, while Lopez did the same with Grammy winning crooner Marc Anthony. Both high-profile couples called it quits in the 2010s.
Affleck and Lopez eventually reconciled in 2021 and married in Las Vegas in July 2022. They held a larger wedding ceremony in Georgia on Aug. 20 of that year, exactly two years to the day before Lopez filed for divorce.
