Celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser reportedly has been tapped to mediate the divorce of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
On Monday morning, the estranged couple was spotted at a West Hollywood office building they separately rent from.
The lawyer — known in Hollywood as the “Disso Queen” — has been helping Affleck and Lopez dissolve their short-lived marriage for months, reports TMZ. There was no prenuptial agreement in place for their union, according to the outlet.
Artists Equity, the production company Affleck founded with bestie Matt Damon in 2022, is reportedly a point of contention Wasser will work out with the estranged couple.
Lopez, who filed for divorce in August, may have rights to the business, which was formed during the marriage.
Wasser counts Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie among her high-profile clients. She and Affleck reportedly worked together on his 2018 divorce from actress Jennifer Garner.
The Oscar winner and the “Jenny from the Block” singer began dating in the early aughts and got engaged, but called off their 2003 wedding just one day before the ceremony. They officially broke up a few months later.
In 2021, they rekindled their romance and married in the summer of 2022.
The dissolution of the marriage marks the fourth divorce for the 55-year-old Bronx native, who also wed model Ojani Noa in 1997, choreographer Chris Judd in 2001 and singer Marc Anthony in 2004.
