The store that is often pitted against Wayfair is coming to a US state for the third time.
AZFamily reports that residents in Arizona will soon be blessed with their third IKEA store.
The location will be built across from the redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall in Phoenix.
It won’t be a massive space like others in the state, but the new spot will still boast 75,000 square feet of room.
The new IKEA will primarily consist of home furnishing accessories and about 75 small furniture items.
Shoppers will be able to look through the multiple furnished showrooms, and they can drop in to the as-is department.
This section will sell gently used products, discontinued items, and affordable home furnishings.
And it wouldn’t be an IKEA without the company’s beloved food options on offer.
The Phoenix location will feature the company’s new Swedish Deli concept.
This will offer hot and cold food to enjoy while shopping.
Other IKEAs in Arizona can be found in Tempe and in Scottsdale.
But there is no fixed date for when shoppers can go out and enjoy the new IKEA in Phoenix.
For now, they will have to make do with a rough early 2026 opening date for the new spot.
GARDEN GADGET
The US Sun recently reported on a handy garden gadget being sold at IKEA right now for just $2.99.
Its “self-watering insert” product fits into any pot you may have lying around your home.
All you need to do is push the end of the gardening gadget into the soil and the water will penetrate the soil through the terracotta insert.
It helps the water trickle through at a slower rate, meaning you can save on water and disperse it more evenly for the plant.
