Bebe Rexha blasted rapper G-Eazy in a now-deleted Instagram story on Thursday, saying she has no interest in collaborating with him and calling him an “ungrateful loser.”
The 34-year-old pop singer previously collaborated with G-Eazy on their 2015 hit duet “Me, Myself & I,” but Rexha claims he did not treat her well in the aftermath.
In a screenshot of the post obtained by TMZ, she can be seen responding to a member of her team asking if she was interested in working with the rapper, 35, on some social content while he was in New York.
“You have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser,” she wrote, tagging G-Eazy.
“You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the s— things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit. Btw the answer is no. Hope you good,” she concluded.
Later in the day, Rexha removed the post but wrote a follow-up explaining that her team asked her to take it down, adding that “it felt very negative and toxic.”
“Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing,” she stated.
But the singer also said she stood by what she initially wrote and regretted taking it down.
G-Eazy’s yet to comment publicly on the matter.
