IN THE early noughties this couple was known as the home makeover kings.

Now 22 years later, the pair are still going strong – but can you guess who they are?

The couple in question are design duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan.

They launched to fame in 2003, with their hit show The Million Pound Property Experiment.

Colin, 57, and Justin, 58, discovered they both had a passion for home design, an activity they did informally in their spare times.

They had their first TV stint on a Scottish programme called Summer Discovery.

This was followed by the BBC series Trading Up, which they hosted for seven series.

The classic BBC show Million Pound Property Experiment gave Colin and Justin their big break.

As a part of the show, they had to buy, renovate and sell seven properties across the UK.

BECOMING A COUPLE

Colin and Justin have been a couple since 1986, after meeting for the first time in a Glasgow gay club as teenagers.

They have been together for 37 years in 2022, within which they decided to make the move to Canada, where they present shows on Canadian television.

They tied the knot on February 15 2008, in a private civil ceremony in London‘s Chelsea Old Town Hall, followed by a honeymoon in the Caribbean.

The civil ceremony was witnessed by the couple’s close friends Elaine and George Ponte.

Colin and Justin made the move across the pond to Canada in 2008, and have presented shows on Canadian television such as Home Heist and Great Canadian Cottages.
