BARSTOOL SPORTS star Dan Katz was hospitalised due to kidney stones.
Katz, 40, – nicknamed Big Cat – took to social media on Sunday to reveal that he had ended up in the emergency room over the weekend.

And ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the podcaster has since been released from the medical facility he was treated at.
Schefter tweeted: “Developing story: Over the weekend, @BarstoolBigCat was hospitalized due to a kidney stone.
“He since has been released, and with that episode seemingly over, @PFTCommenter is now on the clock.”
Katz, though, maintained his humor despite his horrible ordeal.
The podcast star joked his trip to hospital hadn’t been the worst part of the weekend as his beloved Chicago Bears also lost.
This wasn’t the first time Katz has been struck down with kidney stones.
It was only last November when he revealed that he had suffered with four.
Katz said last year: “I try to p*** one out.
“Three are small inside my kidney still, that maybe won’t f*** me up. One is already on its way out and that’s the big boy.
“I think it’s kinda random, it might be stress cause I am really stressed.”
Katz was released from hospital in time to attend Barstool’s Bet Gala.
