Asda issues important message to shoppers buying a Christmas turkey this year

Many Britons would agree that Christmas dinner isn’t complete without a turkey, but deciding where to buy it is more divisive.

While some call upon their local butcher before December 25, major supermarkets offer affordable deals on fresh and frozen turkeys.

For those who shop at Asda, it’s time to prepare for their festive feast as the six-week countdown to Christmas begins.

The supermarket giant has issued an important message to its customers, urging them to note key diary dates to avoid missing out.

Asda’s Christmas turkey offering is live now, with competitive prices of just £3 per kg. But there’s not long left to purchase before the order closes.

Asda’s Christmas turkey ordering dates

From Wednesday, November 13, customers can choose from eight fresh Christmas turkeys (ranging from joints to crowns to whole birds) to add to their home delivery or collection in-store order.

The range is available to browse online at Asda.com, but there are only a few weeks to secure a fresh turkey. Asda shoppers have until 11.59pm on Friday, December 15, 2024, to pre-order their chosen bird.

Deliveries and click-and-collect orders will be made between December 21 and 23, 2024, a few days before Christmas.

More than one million home delivery and click-and-collect slots will be available in the week before December 25.
