Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Isak’s ‘preferred club revealed’, Gunners eye Sane move, Cunha competition, Saka latest

Vlahovic price

Arsenal could be tempted into making a move for Dusan Vlahovic, after learning a reduced price.

CaughtOffside claim that the Bosnian striker could be available for as little as £33million.

Juventus see Vlahovic as surplus to requirements.

Randal Kolo Muani joined on loan in January from PSG, and has taken Vlahovic’s spot up front.

Berta deals

Incoming Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is desperate to sign Matheus Cunha and Martin Zubimendi.

According to GiveMeSport, the Gunners could spend up to £113million on the pair.

Cunha’s release clause at Wolves is around £62million, while Zubimendi could be signed for around £51million.

However, teamTALK say Arsenal’s priority is a move for Alexander Isak.

Sesko race

Man Utd have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Benjamin Sesko.

The Red Devils reportedly don’t believe he is worth more than £50million.

It is believed his club RB Leipzig want over £60million.

If true, that would give Arsenal a free go at signing the giant forward.

Isak latest

Michael Owen is backing Liverpool to rival Arsenal for the signing of Alexander Isak.

Owen told talkSPORT: “If Isak was available I think Liverpool would do everything in their power to get somebody like that.

‘But so would Arsenal.

“Arsenal are absolutely desperate for a player like that. Who wouldn’t be desperate for a player like that.”

Owen added: “From Newcastle’s point of view they simply cannot let him go.

“I hear what you’re saying about the balancing of the books and leaving them in credit with the financial rules but so what?

“You prefer Isak, he’s the one who is going to bounce you into that elite level. You need special players, look at Liverpool this year, they’ve got the best centre-half, one of the best attackers in Mo Salah.

“They’ve got the best goalkeeper, you have to have the very elite players to compete. He is one you’ve just got to build your team around, they’ve already got a really strong midfield and with Isak up front you’ve got half a chance.”

Semenyo chase

Arsenal and Liverpool will go head-to-head in the battle to sign Antoine Semenyo.

However, it’s the Reds who could hold all the cards in luring the Bournemouth winger.

The Cherries want to sign their youngster Ben Doak, who is valued at £25million.

They would welcome a substantial fee plus Doak in a deal.

More on Gyokores

Arsenal are believed to be hot on the trail of Victor Gyokores.

And they could have an easier time landing, according to Portuguese outlet Record who say the Swede won’t entertain a move to one of their Premier League rivals.

Nottingham Forest are said to be interested in the forward, but Record claim he has no interest in joining them.

He reportedly wants to play for a club who have a genuine chance of challenging for honours.
