Arsenal manager Unai Emery will be desperate for three points on Monday, with his side sitting just three points behind fourth placed Chelsea in the Premier League.

The Gunners have two games in hand over Maurizio Sarri’s men, and a victory would be a massive boost in their pursuit of a return to the Champions League.

However, Watford boss Javi Gracia has warned Arsenal about one player ahead of tonight’s fixture – their captain Troy Deeney.

The Spaniard has named Deeney as England’s best striker, over the likes of Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford.

“There are good English players in that position, but in my opinion Troy is the best one,” Gracia told Sky Sports when asked if he should be included in the England squad.

“He’s in a very good moment now, but it’s not my decision and I always try to be respectful with the national team.”

Deeney rattled Arsenal fans by claiming that they lack ‘cojones’ last season, but Emery is feeling confident in his side ahead of the trip to Vicarage Road.

He said: “We need to be competitive and to be competitive is to use our capacity, being organised, using our quality and winning the duels individually and collectively.

“The capacity to make the combinations with the ball, breaking their lines and also for the full 90 minutes we have a lot to do defensively on the set-pieces, on the corners and offensively on the set-pieces and corners to see how we can fight individually against them.

“Above all, it is to play one match. One match with 11 opposition players with quality and also a very organised team.

“I think each match is going to be very difficult but we can prepare and we can be optimists also if we play with a big personality and giving a big performance.”

Arsenal have had a mixed run of results since going on a 22-game unbeaten run earlier in the season, by Emery has picked out Juventus bound Aaron Ramsey for his consistent displays of late.

“I am very happy with him,” he added.

“It was not easy for him after he signed [for Juventus] to finish thinking about his future, but his focus is to help us and his attitude has been amazing towards each training session.

“He is available for each match, playing in different systems and different tactical positions for him.

“I continued speaking with him and he wants to do something important for the supporters, I want to do something important with him in his last matches here with his Arsenal heart.”
