Having said that, not everyone is as impressed with the nugget “upgrade” and some have claimed they “look like burnt leftovers”.
Numerous foodies have raced to social media to share snaps of the divisive steak nuggets, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on Retail Dead or Alive, a public Facebook group with 29,300 members, numerous users shared their thoughts on the brisket-style nuggets.
One fast food lover who posts under the username ‘Soozie the Foodie’ spotted the new menu item and beamed: “Arby’s now has steak nuggets

Thrilled with the prime rib nuggets, Soozie continued: “These are perfectly seasoned and tender!
“These taste just like the tips of a brisket.”
The steak nuggets come in a small white tub, which has been described by the chain as a “container of big flavor.”
So if you like smoky flavors and fancy switching up your order from the iconic Smokehouse Brisket burger or the Roast Turkey Ranch & Bacon Sandwich, you won’t want to miss this.
But you’ll need to move fast as they are only set to be on menus for a limited time.
Social media users quickly raced to the comments to share their thoughts on the new nuggets – and not everyone was impressed.
One person asked: “So they got rid of the chicken ones for this?”
To this, a foodie replied: “Sounds like an upgrade to me.”

Another agreed: “Looks dry and old.”
And someone else slammed: “Nothing about this looks appetizing.”
The steak nuggets will be sold in selected Arby’s stores but are not set to be a permanent menu item.
One upset user claimed they haven’t yet seen the new nuggets in their local store, as they disappointedly penned: “Mine doesn’t.”
