Antisemitic live streamer admits to making bomb threats against NYC Jewish hospitals

An antisemitic live streamer who once made a “Sieg Heil” Nazi salute over over an unconscious man’s body has admitted to calling in a half-dozen bomb threats at Jewish hospitals in New York City and Long Island.

Domagoj Patkovic, 32, of Portland, Oregon admitted he entered into a conspiracy to make the sick threats in May and September of 2021, even going as far as livestreaming one of his threats on the messaging network Discord.

Patkovic entered a plea deal in Brooklyn Federal Court Wednesday, and he could face four to five years behind bars when he’s sentenced in July.

As part of his plea deal, Patkovic admitted to all six threats, starting with two calls on May 18, 2021. That day, he called a Jewish hospital in Queens, and a Jewish hospice and senior care network with offices across the city, claiming he’d set a series of bombs.

Police went floor-by-floor at the hospital searching for explosives, but found nothing.

He made a similar threat to the same Queens hospital on May 24, 2021, saying, “I’m gonna kill you k—s,” according to  court filings.

Patkovic struck again on Sept. 15, calling Jewish hospitals in Queens and Nassau county, claiming that he’d placed C-4 explosives throughout the facilities.

An NYPD 911 dispatcher called him back, and he responded, “I just called the hospital requesting my f—ing million dollars or I’m going to blow this k–e f—ing b—h to the sky.”

He livestreamed that call in a Discord channel, revealing his face on video, according to federal prosecutors.

The hospital took the threat seriously enough to partially evacuate the building while Nassau cops searched for bombs.

Finally, on Sept. 17, 2021, he called a new threat to the hospice and senior care network’s main line, claiming to be a man named “Timothy” and saying he had planted “15 backpacks full of C-4 with cellphones strapped to them in all of your maintenance closets.”

“I’m gonna blow you k—s sky high,” he threatened, according to court filings.

In a separate incident, according to court documents, authorities discovered a photo of Domagoj Patkovic performing the Nazi salute over the body of an unconscious person.

Patkovic admitted to taking part in bomb threat and swatting calls with others when the FBI interviewed him in 2023, but maintained that he never spoke on the calls and that his cohorts recreated his voice with artificial intelligence.

Investigators also found a photo of him showing him making a Nazi salute over an unconscious man. His explanation, according to court filings, was that “this guy died because he came at me with a f—ing whip. … I had a picture where I ‘Sieg Heil’ in front of this guy’s passed out body … And nothing ever came of it.”

According to prosecutors’ filings, “An investigation by local law enforcement in Portland, Oregon revealed that the man later died under apparently separate circumstances.”

Patkovic was busted in August and has been locked up without bail since then.

“As he admitted today, the defendant intentionally targeted Jewish hospitals and care centers in our district with bomb threats,” U.S. Attorney John Durham said Wednesday. “In doing so, he needlessly endangered patients and staff and diverted critical law enforcement resources from their core mission of keeping our
community safe.”
