ANDY Cohen’s latest interview on his hit show came to a screeching halt in the most recent episode.

The longtime host, 52, made a rather “disastrous” mistake on Watch What Happens Live – with the blunder happening for the first time in 15 years.

Andy, who is a father of two, has host the Bravo chat show since 2009, could be seen chatting to Connie Britton, who starred in Dirty John.

As the pair chatted about Connie’s proudest moment of her son, disaster struck.

Putting his cue cards down on the table beside him, Andy’s hand appeared to brush the glass and it fell on the floor.

As the glass fell, the drink inside it and the ice cubes shot over the rug and almost on Connie’s legs.

“First time in 15 years,” he said in shock after the drink landed on the floor.

“That was a super full diet cherry coke,” Andy explained.

“I’m so glad you’re dry,” he then said to Connie, who confirmed she did not get splashed.

A REAL DISASTER

“For the first time in 15 years, disaster strikes,” the WWHL Instagram account penned alongside the video.

One person then said: “Honestly impressive that Andy has never spilled a drink on the show!”

“Best thing ever! I love impromptu,” said a second.

A third added: “Notice how quickly he goes into dad clean-up mode.”

Although this was the first time Andy spilled a drink, it wasn’t the first time he had suffered an awkward blunder.

Back in 2019, Andy was presented with a yummy cake when he dropped it on the floor.

Famous model Karlie Kloss presented Andy with a St. Louis style butter cake that she made herself.

Andy Cohen’s Career

Andy Cohen has blazed quite the career for himself despite being often mired in controversy.

Andy received a degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University.

He held local internships in TV and radio before landing his first job out of college job as a news clerk at CBS News working for the show, CBS This Morning.

He worked with CBS for a decade and became a producer for both the morning show and 48 Hours.

In 2000, he got a job in program development at Trio, a cable network owned by NBC Universal.

In 2004, he landed a job at Bravo, also an NBC Universal property, as vice president of original programming.

Andy helped develop the Real Housewives franchise, starting with The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006.

In July of 2009, his boozy late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live premiered.

Andy has also been a regular guest on Today and Morning Joe, and has co-hosted Live! with Kelly, and The View.

He has his own channel on Sirius XM radio (Radio Andy), and his own book imprint, Andy Cohen Books, with Henry Holt & Co.

He has written several books including The Andy Cohen Diaries, Superficial, and The Daddy Diaries,

Andy and Anderson Cooper have also teamed up for CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve coverage since the 2017-18 special.

KARLIE’S CAKE BLUNDER

But things took a turn for the worst.

After trying some of Karlie’s cake, Andy popped it down on the table beside him.

As he placed the cake, which was in a tray, on the small side table – it fell straight onto the floor.

“Oooop” he said as disaster struck.

Andy then burst out laughing, and Karlie couldn’t contain the laughter either.

The Bravo legend then picked up his fork and started eating the cake off of the rainbow-colored rug.
