Andy Cohen weighs in on Bette Midler’s pitch to join ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

Bette Midler wants a new dose of reality  — reality television, that is.

The Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner took to social media over the weekend to float the idea about becoming a cast member of the bit Bravo series “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“Is it too late for me to become a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills?” she wrote on X. “I’ve never watched it, but I am in the mood to talk some s—. And to get paid for it? A dream!”

The verified account for Bravo, which broadcasts all of the “Housewives” shows, replied in response, “Talk about a glorious crossover!”

Andy Cohen, the executive producer of the franchises, tweeted his support of the idea by writing: “It’s time!”

Midler, 78, even came up with a cheeky tagline to use for the intro of the Los Angeles County-based series if she gets the chance to star in it: “Those Beaches don’t know what’s about to hit ‘em!!” — a reference to her beloved 1988 film “Beaches.”
