AMAZON has launched a new shopping service to rival Temu and Shein.
The online marketplace giant has unveiled “Haul” in the UK offering shoppers thousands of products for £20 or less.

The UK is just the second location where Amazon has launched the service, after it was opened up to the US market last year.
The service is initially being trialled among select customers before being rolled out for all customers “in the coming weeks”.
Haul is only available via smartphone with shoppers able to scan a QR code via www.amazon.co.uk/b?node=201079717031 to access it.
If you already have the Amazon mobile app, search “Haul” and then hit “Enter” to be redirected.
Shoppers will be able to purchase thousands of products for £20 or less through Haul, with the majority of items costing under £10.
The service will also offer free delivery on all orders over £15, while shoppers can receive an extra 5% off their order when spending more than £50.
However, orders through Haul will arrive in “two weeks or less”, meaning shoppers could face longer shipping times.
John Boumphrey, UK country manager of Amazon, said: “We are constantly working to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers, and this is another way to offer low prices on a wide selection of products.
“Now more than ever we know our customers are looking to save, and we’re excited to provide more options through the shopping app they already know and love.”
The launch of Haul in the UK comes as Amazon battles the rapid growth of Chinese-linked rivals such as Temu and Shein which have seen sales soar in recent years.
OTHER AMAZON CHANGES
Amazon recently sparked fury among customers after ditching the option for them to archive their order history.
The feature meant shoppers could “hide” any purchases from friends and family.
Amazon users said they used it so that any gift purchases remained a surprise or to avoid alerting family members to any impulse buys.
But the option was ditched on April 30, to customer outrage.
One said on Reddit: “I use this feature all the time to buy my wife various gifts throughout the year (birthday, Christmas, valentines, etc) this has been super useful to not ruin surprises.”
Another person said: “I do too but for my mother since we share the same account.
“There’s no way she would have let me buy a iPad pro for her this past Christmas if I didn’t hide it.”
It came after Amazon upped the minimum amount shoppers have to spend to qualify for free shipping from £25 to £35 last summer.
The updated threshold means shoppers now have to pay 40% more to avoid a home delivery charge.
One customer who spotted the sneaky change posted on X: “I just noticed that @AmazonUK has increased the minimum spend for free delivery to £35…
“That’s a lot for a lot of people in these reduced times.
“Not very well publicised considering how entwined they are in our lives now.”
Another wrote: “That’s way too high!! Also, you didn’t exactly publicise it, very sneaky!”
