Alexander Zverev leaves Sinner and Becker in the dust despite never winning Grand Slam

Djokovic and Nadal are the only active players who have raked in more prize money than Zverev, pocketing £141m ($184m) and £103m ($135m) respectively. It’s no surprise – Djokovic has 99 career titles, 24 of which came at the Majors, while Nadal is a 22-time Slam champion.

While Zverev may have had a more lucrative career than almost everyone, the German will still be frustrated by his failure to lift one of the biggest trophies in the sport. Once tipped to be the next big thing in men’s tennis and the heir to the Big Three, he is now in his late 20s with a 0-2 record in Grand Slam finals while younger rivals like Alcaraz and Sinner have already won multiple Major titles.
