On Monday, Aldi shoppers were stunned by the news of a fellow deal finder snagging a viral air fryer for just $3.99
Pictures from the post show the machine off in all its glory, with its digital face and sleek design.
Below, people could not believe how lucky the person was who grabbed it for such a cheap price.
One person in the comments of the post exclaimed that the find was the “Deal of the decade.. those things are expensive.”
Meanwhile, others echoed this sentiment: “My Aldi never has deals like this.”
And a third added: “That’s awesome! Congrats!”
Others shared how much they had bought their air fryers for, with prices ranging from $59 to $99.
MONEY SAVER
But at the same time, one shopper had a possible explanation as to why the shopper was able to get the air fryer for such a low price.
They hypothesized that there was a misprint on the label, but Aldi had no choice but to stick to the printed price.
This means that the air fryer was actually $39.99, but instead a typo made it read $3.99.
A reply to this comment said: “Sounds like someone made a typo on the price tag.
“But they had to honor it!”
It is important to note that this has not been confirmed by Aldi themsleves.
Without knowing at what Aldi this took place at, it would be hard to confirm if it was in fact a mistake on the retailer’s part.
GARDENING ACCESSORY
The US Sun also reported that Aldi is selling a $9.99 gardening accessory just as the spring season fully blooms.
Aldi’s two-way manifold features an easy to use thumb control that allows you to adjust water flow smoothly.
It also gives you dual outlets for a high flow rate, and on/off knobs for convenience.
