Starting March 19, the Crofton Banana Hanger with Fruit Basket is back on shelves and available online as part of Aldi Finds on Wednesdays.
Crofton is a cookware and kitchenware brand that’s owned by Aldi.
Prices and availability will vary from store to store, but some customers will have access to the banana hanger, which also is equipped with a fruit basket underneath.
It’s typically listed for $9.99 and available in black, white, or stainless steel finishes.
Having a banana hanger on hand helps prevent fruit from bruising and the basket below is an aesthetic and safe way to store apples, oranges, or other items.
The Crofton Banana Hanger’s cost is favorable compared to a nearly identical option at Crate & Barrel.
For $59.95, customers can get the Cora Black Acacia Wood Fruit Basket with Banana Hanger.
That’s a nearly $50 uptick, but some aspects are fairly different from Aldi’s offering.
BUYER BONUS?
Crate & Barrel’s banana hanger comes in black and white finishes and has the acacia wood part in the fruit basket — a significant upgrade.
Not to mention the fruit basket is slightly larger, but the entire product is hand cut and welded.
The Crate & Barrel option also has over 86 five-star reviews.
Still, aside from the slightly larger basket and the acacia wood addition, those shoppers looking for strictly a functional and affordable option will probably want to reach for Aldi.
It’s hard to beat $50 in savings.
Even so, the decision between either banana hanger will ultimately come down to customers’ budgets and personal preferences.

MORE TO FIND
Some other Aldi items are also catching serious attention this month.
The Crofton Oversized Drying Mat is only $3.99 as part of the March 19 Aldi Finds.
It measures 18 inches by 24 inches and is even reversible.
Aldi also offers the drying mat in different colors and designs.
More notably, the retailer brought back its beloved Adventuridge Thirst Crusher Tumbler on March 12 to compete with Stanley’s Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler.
It’s just $9.99 compared to the $45 cost of the Stanley.
The Crusher first dropped in 2023 and has been restocked other times, but always sells out immediately.
The U.S. Sun has compiled a list of the five Aldi Finds deals customers should watch out for during St. Patrick’s Day.
There are also at least eight products in March that are must-haves starting at $3.99.
