Aldi will shut its doors on Easter Sunday to give employees time with their families.
The German supermarket chain will only be closed for 24 hours.
Major retailers like Costco, Sam’s Club, and Target are also expected to close for the holiday.
Aldi made a social media post reminding shoppers that all of the store’s 2,489 locations would be closed for the holiday.

“Be sure to stock up on all your brunch, dinner and candy needs this week, because our stores will be closed Easter Sunday, 4/20,” the company said in a Facebook post.
The post included a photo with a hopping rabbit in Aldi’s colors and the caption, “ALDI will be closed Easter Sunday, April 20th.”

Fans in the comments were graciously accepting of the store’s temporarily closure.
Many shoppers expressed gratitude to the store for allowing its employees to take time off.
“Enjoy your day off with loved ones,” one fan wrote.
“The staff at the store should have the day off.”
