TREATING your family to a tasty takeaway seems to be getting more and more expensive.
That’s why so many Brits across the nation try their hand at perfecting the fakeaway – saving cash on expensive restaurant bills.

Now Nando’s fans can get their peri peri fix at home for a fraction of the price, thanks to Aldi’s new Roosters range.
The German retailer has got a whole load of mouth-watering food available, with a familiar chilli-shaped spice chart to help you choose.
Whether you’re a lemon and herb lover, medium spice fan or prefer your spice-levels hot, there’s something for everyone.
The range, which uses 100% British chicken, hits Aldi stores April 3.
Aldi says: “No need to wing it – your fakeaway feast is here!
“Snap up our tasty British chicken and sides before they fly off the shelves.”
Aldi is known for its pocket-friendly pricing, and with their new range you can feed a family of four for £32.16, that’s £53.04 less than the Nando’s equivalent.

The new range has got a massive variety of menu classics, including a half chicken (£3.99), chicken breast sizzlers (£3.69) or chicken thigh fillets (3.29).
Shoppers are spoilt for choice with sides too – able to choose from rainbow slaw (79p), spicy corn on the cob (£1.99), peri-peri fries (£1.49) and more.
There are even yummy appetisers, like spicy mixed olives (£1.69) or halloumi sticks with chilli jam (£2.49) to choose from.
And it doesn’t matter if the family is divided on their preferred level of spice.
As you can choose the level of heat you’d like using the handy spice meter.
If you’d consider yourself a daring diner, the wing roulette (£4.99) will be right up your street – it’s potluck which spice level you’ll get, so it’s not for the faint hearted.
The range was last seen in stores last year, with customers rushing to stores to snap it up.
They raved about it online, with one shopper taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to tell people: “Don’t walk bloody run!! ‘Nando’s’ has come to Aldi.”
The happy customer had bought so much of the dupe dining range she’d managed to completely cover her kitchen counter.
Again, chicken lovers will need to be quick if they want to get their hands on the latest drop.
As with all Aldi Specialbuys, once it’s gone it’s gone.
