Adam Sandler gave his take on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights.”
The “Uncut Gems” actor appeared on the season premiere of the podcast, which is hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, and shared that his family has supported the Kansas City Chiefs player’s romance with the “Karma” singer from the very beginning.
“You being together,” Sandler gushed on Wednesday’s episode. “That photo of when you first started dating, my family was like, ‘Yes! Look how good they are together! He’s a gentleman! And she’s having so much fun with him!’ Any time Taylor is laughing with you, my whole f–kin’ family is high fiving.”
Visibly blushing, the 34 year old NFL player responds, “You’ve got me sweating, man.”
Sandler continued praising Swift for what she means to his daughters, 18-year-old Sadie and 15-year-old Sunny.
“What a girl,” Adam continued. “She means so much to our house. The kids were little and we were listening to Taylor Swift — it was one of the first times that you listen to every song on the record. When I was a kid, The Beatles you did that with, maybe Elton John. Every tune. They knew every word.”
Kelce agreed with the sentiment, calling his girlfriend the “best performer out there.”
The “Happy Gilmore” star admits he has become a Swiftie himself. “I love listening to her in the car,” he continued. “I love what she has to say. Every message. Every melody. The production. What she meant to young girls, what she means to women, what she means to guys doing the right thing in life.”
In February, the 57-year-old actor admitted Swift is one of the few celebrities that has left him starstruck.
“Taylor Swift, because what she means to my kids, I get a little f–king jumpy,” Adam told Conan O’Brien on a Feb. 26 episode of his “Needs A Friend podcast”. “I don’t want to blow it for my kids — I talk a little too loud. I don’t act as cool as I can.”
Sandler and the Chiefs tight end are set to star in the upcoming film, “Happy Gilmore 2.”
