One-time Super Bowl winner Rodgers, 41, is at a crossroads in his career.

The former Green Bay Packers quarter-back is a free agent after his release from the New York Jets.

Rodgers has already been strongly linked with both the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

And Schefter believes the icon should make a quick choice.

That verdict might not go down too well with Rodgers.

After all, he, once told Schefter to “lose my number”‘ when the NFL reporter texted him about a story.

The 58-year-old gave his frank views over Rodgers’ transfer saga to the Jen, Gabe & Chewy podcast.

Schefter said: “To me, this shouldn’t be that hard, right?

“Like, the Steelers want you. The Giants want you.

“We’re seeing players across the league make decisions.

“It shouldn’t be that hard. Either you want to play or you don’t.

“You want to play in Pittsburgh or you don’t. You want to play in New York or you don’t.”

However, the Minnesota Vikings are also said to be interested in Rodgers.

And some fans might think it’s only right he takes time to consider what will probably be his final move of a glittering career.

Rodgers has previously said “I think Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport are really good at their jobs but when it comes to me they don’t know s***.”
