A 51-year-old woman was found dead in her Brooklyn apartment, a wire wrapped around her neck, police sources said Thursday.
The grim discovery was made by a concerned neighbor who went to check on the woman inside her apartment on Flatlands Ave. near Elton St. in East New York about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, cops said
The woman was found lying on the floor dead with wire around her neck.
The death has not yet been classified a homicide, with cops awaiting the results of an autopsy. Her name was not immediately released.
The woman was currently a suspect in a menacing case and had a number of previous drug cases among the 28 arrests on her record, police sources said.
