A 66-year-old Bronx bicyclist died after he was hit by a pickup truck Saturday afternoon, cops said.
The bike rider, whose name was not immediately released, was struck at an intersection in the Soundview neighborhood just before noon, police said, when the 24-year-old man behind the wheel of the GMC pickup, traveling north on Commonwealth Ave. hit the cyclist as he was pedaling east on Westchester Ave.
EMS took the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
