Nigel Farage has launched a scathing attack against Kamala Harris after she made a humiliating blunder in a national television interview.
Joe Biden’s current Vice President sat down for a major television interview as she continues her media blitz ahead of the US election next month.
The 25-minute Fox News interview between Harris and political news anchor Bret Baier became heated on occasions, with arguments quickly ensuing over the border and Donald Trump.
Responding to one of the tense exchanges, Reform UK leader Farage took to X and raged: “She is even more stupid than I thought.”
At one point, Baier pointed to a Marquette Law School poll from October 1-10 of 652 likely voters about the “direction of the country”, which saw 79 percent say it was on the “wrong track”.
He says: “They say the country is on the wrong track. If it’s on the wrong track…that track follows three-and-a-half years of you being Vice President and President Biden being President. That is what they are saying…79 percent of them.
“Why are they saying that, if you’re turning the page? You’ve been in office for three-and-a-half years.”
Harris issues bizarre response: “And Donald Trump has been running for office, since”
Baier quickly picks up on this misstep, snapping back: “You’ve been the person holding the office.”
The Vice President laughs as she replies: “You and I both know what I’m talking about
But the Fox News host remains unfazed by responding: “I actually don’t. What are you talking about?”
Harris is currently on a media blitz and last week appeared on CBS News’s 60 Minutes for an interview with Bill Whitaker.
The Democrat and Republican rival Trump have been exchanging brutal blows over recent weeks, with Americans set to take to the polls on November 5.
