'I'm a divorce lawyer – these five jobs have the highest number of cheaters'

A divorce lawyer has revealed the five jobs that have the highest number of cheaters – with top spot being claimed by a surprising role.

Kate Simonds, a lawyer at Simonds Law Group in Arizona, US, shared the clip on Instagram where she discussed which professions she saw as “most likely to cheat”.

The expert warned this was “not legal advice” but a great way to keep an eye out for those with wandering eyes. She said: “Don’t take this as legal advice, but if your husband does one of those five occupations, they’re our frequent fliers.”

This led her into her first occupation seamlessly, saying: “Speaking of flying, at number five, pilots and flight attendants.”

Fourth place was taken by military men, while third place was given to bartenders.

And surprisingly, the top two spots were taken by staff from emergency services. She continued: “Number two, police officers. And number one, firefighters, for sure.”

It appeared the clip had been highly requested by followers of the law firm, with the video captioned: “Alright, you guys asked, so we wanted to share it with you. MOST COMMON CHEATERS. THIS. We are turning up the heat for this one.”

The video had more than 129,156 likes – with some men taking to the comments to defend themselves. One person wrote: “22 years in the military. Never cheated once.”

Another wrote: “My hubby is a firefighter and in the military. We have been married for 22 years and he has never cheated. So yes there are those out there that do take their vows seriously.”

A third added: “What was the point of this post? Make a s*** ton of women with great partners skeptical and/or paranoid of them, simply based on their profession?”

But some felt the lawyer had got it spot on, with some similarities noted amongst the professions.

One person pointed out they are all “night shifters”, while another said: “All jobs that require a lot of time away.”

Another wrote: “Basically men that spend most of their life at work.”
