The calendar has turned to October and that means we have hockey action from the NHL from now until June. Tonight, Fanatics Sportsbook is offering you a chance to earn $350 in bonus bets when you wager $20 on the Rangers vs. Red Wings game and use code FOXNEWS350.
The New York Rangers remain an Eastern Conference heavyweight relying on their dominant foundation. Their squad still boasts an elite core on offense with Mika Zibanejad, J.T. Miller, and Alexis Lafrenière driving play upfront. Having played last night, you do need to wonder how fresh their legs will be.
Anchored by Adam Fox on the blue line and world-class play in net from Igor Shesterkin, the Rangers consistently limit dynamic scoring opportunities. If Shesterkin stays dialed in, he should have no problem turning away Detroit’s scoring surges.

The Red Wings get to showcase their revamped roster. They brought in high-impact additions like Viktor Arvidsson and Keegan Kolesar to boost depth alongside a star-studded top six featuring Alex DeBrincat.
Perhaps what might make the most interesting story tonight is how top prospect Michael Brandsegg-Nygard performs. He showed incredible goal-scoring ability during his late-season push, and now aims to lock down a full-time spot. Can he be the explosive young winger needed to give Detroit the secondary scoring punch they desperately need?
