Jalen Hurts is under center for the Eagles. In his career, he has been knocked mostly for the thing that you’d expect a quarterback to do well – throw the ball. Hurts has never really been known as a drop-back passer, but this season he has done a great job in two games, completing 40-of-62 passes. He has five touchdowns, but also two interceptions.
On the other side of the ball, the Bears, in Week 3, will have their third different quarterback. In Week 1, Caleb Williams took the ball, and he looked fantastic. In Week 2, Williams got injured, and then Tyson Bagent got injured as well. Bagent did finish the game for the Bears in Week 2, and should be available, but he just got out of concussion protocol.
Instead, the Bears will send Case Keenum to command the offense. Keenum is a journeyman, but he has plenty of games played in his career. He has thrown for 15,175 yards, 79 touchdowns, and 51 interceptions.
