The problem was that Bo Nix suffered an ankle injury and couldn’t play in the next game. That turned the ball over to their second-string quarterback, and he could only get them one touchdown against a tough Patriots defense. It was a respectable effort with the Broncos at home. They now have their quarterback under center again and are looking to regain the momentum that gave them the #1 overall seed last year.
