Ukraine launched a deadly drone attack on Friday, striking a key Russian oil depot and setting it ablaze.
Kyiv has targeted oil depots, ammunition warehouses and military bases inside Russian to deadly effect over the past few months.

On Friday, Ukraine launched a wave of drone attacks on a key fuel depot in Rovenky in occupied Luhansk.
The depot is just over 250 km from Pokrovsk and presumably a major source of fuel for Russia’s Donbas army.
The attack caused a raging inferno to break out, with images showing the complex consumed by giant flames.
Ukraine’s General Staff later confirmed the strike in a statement posted to its social media channels.
“Oil and petroleum products were stored at this base, which were supplied, among other things, for the needs of the Russian Army,” they said.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence said it had intercepted and destroyed 47 Ukrainian UAVS overnight.
“17 UAVs were intercepted and destroyed over the territory of the Krasnodar, 16 over the Sea of Azov, 12 over the territory of the Kursk Region, and two over the territory of the Belgorod Region.
Meanwhile, the governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, reported that one person had died and eleven were injured after a village was shelled.
Residents of a two-storey house in Krasnodar region had a lucky escape after a drone wiped out the second floor of their house.
